FROM FAITH TO FAITH
“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.”
(Romans 1:17)
“We always have to thank God for you, brothers and sisters. It’s right to do this because your faith is showing remarkable growth [your faith is growing exceedingly] and your love for each other is increasing.”
(2 Thessalonians 1:3)
“But even as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”
(2 Corinth 8:7)
Impact greetings!
Once again, I congratulate every member of myFather’s House for the new thing God has begun to do in our midst. Truly, the Lord is raising global change agents from among us, and it is my prayer that this fire of revival will never die out in Jesus’ name.
Welcome to the month of October! We have officially entered the last quarter of 2025, and indeed the Lord has preserved us by His faithfulness. It is my earnest hope that we are walking with a renewed understanding of the times and seasons of our lives. May none of us miss our appointed season of divine visitation in Jesus’ name.
So, what is the Holy Spirit saying to us this month? The word “Emunah” in Hebrew speaks of the journey of faith. Faith is not passive—it is active, steadfast, and requires continual cultivation through practice. In essence, faith grows; it increases. And it is expressed in diverse ways. One such expression is giving—whether in thanksgiving, in service, or in the release of our resources. Every act of giving is an act of faith. It is God’s desire that we grow in faith and, in turn, in the ways we express it. Therefore, our prophetic focus for the month of October is: “From Faith to Faith.”
Beloved, faith grows (2 Thessalonians 1:3). There is the level of faith that can trust for the seas to be calm, while there is yet the level of faith that parts the “Red Sea.” There is even another level of faith that can cause the “River Jordan” to roll back, while there is yet a higher level of faith that just walks on the sea. You see, faith is like a muscle—it gets stronger with use (Hebrews 5:12-14). We all know that God is limitless and all-powerful. Yet in Psalm 78:41, the Bible records that the children of Israel limited God. One commentary puts it this way: “They set limits to His power in their own minds.” The songwriter sang, “I have made You too small in my heart…I have believed in a lie that You are unable to help me. Be magnified!” Is God magnified in your heart? What is your perception of Him, His power, and His abilities? What is the size of your faith in God?
In Luke 5:4, Jesus told Peter to launch out into the deep. Beloved, only deep calls to deep. God wants to do so much with, for, and through us. But we must be willing to launch into the deep. We must shed limiting mindsets, because limited mindsets limit God. We must be willing to take that plunge of faith (Romans 4:20, MSG). You may be a person of faith, or you may have believed in the past. Good for you! But the just shall live [continuously] by faith—it is a lifelong journey, not a one-off. And it is needed in ever-increasing measure. You see, there are endless possibilities in Christ—you can believe God for anything and everything (Philippians 4:13; Mark 9:23; Acts 24:14b). But it is only unto us according to the level of our faith (Matthew 9:29).
Now, we must understand that giving is an expression of faith—an act of trust. Why are farmers willing to sow their precious seeds into the soil? Or people willing to partake in certain investments, parting with their hard-earned resources? Because they believe in the harvest. The direction of your giving reflects the strength of your faith. In the same way, when we give out of our resources to God, we are expressing our faith in Him as our sufficiency—our Overwhelming Source and abundance. Bills and expenses will always exist. Yet when we look beyond ourselves and give to God, this choice to give is proof that we believe He can make what remains more than enough (2 Corinth 9:8; Mark 12:41–44). This is what it means to prove God—just ask the widow of Zarephath (Malachi 3:10; 1 Kings 17:7-16). So never be casual or careless in your giving. Give with the understanding that faith moves God.
The Bible says that faith is multiplied through knowledge. The more of God we know, the easier it becomes to trust Him—with our problems, our time, our resources, our lives. Holding back only reveals a lack of trust. This October, make up your mind to grow your faith. Faith does not grow by assumptions—it comes by knowledge, and is strengthened through practice (Romans 10:17). Exercise your faith; stretch your faith. Let it be evident in how you give, what you say, how you live, and what you do (2 Corinthians 4:13). Be a person of ever-increasing faith—moving always from faith to faith.
