Building Deeper Connections
As we wrap up our month-long journey exploring Emotional Intelligence in Relationships, we're focusing on what it takes to build and maintain deeper connections. Let's put everything we've learned into practice!
Managing The Storm
As we enter our third week of exploring Emotional Intelligence in Relationships, we're tackling one of the most important skills: managing conflict and strong emotions. Remember, storms don't last forever and they often lead to growth.
Reading The Room
There's a big difference between saying "I'm sorry that happened" and truly connecting with someone's experience. This week, we'll explore how to move beyond surface-level sympathy to genuine empathy.
Know Yourself First
Have you ever wondered why you react differently to relationship situations than your friends do? The answer might lie in your attachment style. Our early life experiences create patterns that influence how we connect with others as adults.
LOVING YOURSELF
Welcome to the month of February! It is not out of place to wish you a happy new year still. God has been faithful. 2025 is indeed our landmark year, a year to be much remembered for good, a year of exceeding abundant grace. Hallelujah!🎉🎊
EXCEEDING ABUNDANT GRACE
With Jesus' joy and with gladness of heart, I welcome you into the year 2025. Hallelujah! I am so glad that we all made it. God is indeed good, and His mercy is renewed in our lives daily. All glory to Him. I believe that all of you are walking in the reality of divine acceleration. It is my prayer that no one will lose the grounds that were gained in the past year. It shall be forward and upward ever, backward never in Jesus’ name.
JESUS: We Are Waiting
Praise the Lord! We made it to the last month of 2024. Take a moment to just exalt and praise God for His faithfulness, kindness and preservation, for His tender mercies that have been new every single day throughout this year. I know that our God who has brought us this far is more than able to sustain us to the end of this year. Glory to Him!
God of All Seasons
Welcome to November! Congratulations on making it this far. Indeed, God has been faithful. I believe that we all have a renewed mind and an open heart towards the subject of giving. It is my prayer that as we put this kingdom mystery to work, the blessedness of giving will become evident in our lives.
OPEN HANDS, OPEN HEARTS
Wow, ten months in! It is October already, and officially the start of the last quarter of 2024. God has indeed been faithful. I trust that you have awakened to your identity in Christ. You know who you are, so be authentic, embrace your uniqueness, work on your weaknesses, build your strengths, be a person of character and integrity, and do not forget to celebrate yourself. My prayer is that you will live out God’s plan for your life, walk in the center of His will, and remain true to Him.
BACK TO SCHOOL - CONNECTING WITH SELF
Welcome to the month of September! God indeed has been faithful. I believe that we are all experiencing new beginnings in all aspects of our lives, connecting with God and walking in the centre of His plans for our lives. May we continue to grow closer to Him, knowing Him as He really is.
A NEW BEGINNING
The month of July was a testament to God's faithfulness: we held our first water baptism of the year, accepted new members into the workforce, inaugurated the Youth Church, and launched the second service. Indeed, God has been faithful to us. July was also a month of healing and restoration for our families. It is my prayer that God will perfect all that concerns every family; may we all continue to dwell together in harmony, united in heart in Jesus’ name. Glory to God!
IT’S HALF-TIME!
Woah! We are halfway already into 2024. It has been a journey of grace so far. Indeed, myFather’s House has been in God’s spotlight this year. Glory to God! I trust that we are all taking proactive steps towards rebuilding the different areas of our lives, family, church and society that God has laid in our hearts. Grace is sufficient for us in Jesus’ name.
