WINDS OF CHANGE

“The wind blows where it wants to and you hear its sound. You do not know where it comes from or where it goes. It is the same with everyone who is born of the Spirit of God.”

(John 3:8)

“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on both sides.”

(Exodus 14:21-22)

“Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”

(Ezekiel 37:9)

Welcome to the month of May!

April was such a phenomenal month for us in myFather’s House. We celebrated the victory of the cross and the miracle of resurrection—thanks be to God for the gift of salvation. We also enjoyed a divine visitation by our Father-in-the-Lord, the Special Assistant to the G.O (Prayer), and just concluded the celebration of our 9th year anniversary. Indeed the Lord has been good to us. Praise the Lord!

So, what is heaven’s counsel for the month of May? As we know, myFather’s House is moving to a higher level and a much larger space; 2026 has been prophetically declared our year of Next Levels, a year of upward and forward increase. Anyone who has ever sailed on a boat understands how effortless progress becomes when the wind is in your favour, and how challenging it is when the wind is against you. The Lord is calling our attention to the imminent shift His Spirit is bringing. The wind of God is blowing, and we have the responsibility to set our sails—to position ourselves like the eagle that senses the wind and rises to take flight. Therefore, our prophetic focus for the month of May is WINDS OF CHANGE.

It takes observation to know when the wind changes direction. In John 3:8, Jesus teaches that although we cannot see the wind, we can hear it and feel its effects. In the same way that sailors rely on their sails to pick up on and respond to the changing direction of the wind, we must, in this prophetic moment, heighten our spiritual senses. We must bring out our spiritual wind vane.

The Holy Spirit is likened to the wind because its movements reveal His nature—unpredictable yet purposeful, invisible yet undeniable. To keep in step with what God is doing in our time and through our lives, we must be sensitive to the shifts of the Spirit. In Luke 12:54–55, Jesus rebuked the crowds for being able to interpret natural signs but failing to discern spiritual ones. This month, the Lord is calling us to watchfulness, awareness, and spiritual perception. We must discern the difference between the winds of false doctrine blowing across the church—winds designed to topple those who are unsteady in their convictions— versus the wind of the Holy Spirit, which lifts, guides, and empowers. We must choose to soar on the wind of the Spirit, responding to His leading in all things.

What happens when the winds of change begin to blow in our direction? Just like in the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-10), when the wind begins to blow, dead bones become an exceeding great army. Like at the Red Sea and the Jordan River, when the wind begins to blow, a way is made where there was none. Obstacles that once seemed immovable begin to shift. When the wind begins to blow, scarcity is turned into abundance (Numbers 11:31). Fruitfulness happens when the winds of change blow (Isaiah 32:15). Revival happens just like in the day of Pentecost when the wind of change blows. It is my prayer that in this season, the wind of God will begin to blow in our favour—propelling us forward, and lifting us into the next levels and new waves of glory that God has ordained for us.

The teaching series for this month includes: “The Winds of Change”; “Women of Greater Heights”; “When the Winds Blow (Pt 1)—the East Wind”; “When the Winds Blow (Pt 2)—the Four Winds”; and “Let the Winds Blow.”
